About Cape Cod Sea Sports
History
A small family run business, Sea Sports has continued to grow each year since our opening in the spring of 1992. Jim Craddock, the founder and original owner, has passed the business on to his only son Jeff Craddock. Jim's experience and influence are still very much a part of what Sea Sports is today. With the help of many great people, Sea Sports continues to thrive on the Cape.
Our Staff
Jeff Craddock
I was born and raised here on the Cape and have been playing outside my entire life. Having Sea Sports allows me to share my passion of the Cape and sports with others. I have been diving New England waters since 1984' and have been a Scuba instructor since 94'. I'm currently a DiveMaster/Divecon Instructor trainer with both NAUI and SSI. I'm also an avid paddler and have been coaching and guiding paddlers throughout Cape Cod and New England waters since 97'. I enjoy sharing my passion of the water with others.
I also have been an avid and competitive cyclist for most of my life. I have participated and competed in everything from cross state bicycling tours, to European stage races, national championships, and even expedition length adventure races. I hold a USA cycling category 1 racing license in two disciplines. I'm friendly and eager to share my passion and knowledge with you. I enjoy teaching people how to fit a mask, hold a paddle, or adjust saddle height as much as I do anything here at Sea Sports. Please stop by Sea Sports and say hello!

As an SSI Instructor Certifier he can offer scuba instructor courses to those who wish to become a diving professional.
Christopher Olsen
Chris took his first Open Water Scuba class with us back in 1994 and 'caught the bug'. Since then he has moved up through the ranks and is a valued member of our Instructor team. He is the Fire Chief for Cotuit Fire Department. Chris has a great personality, and we are lucky to have him on the team. His enthusiasm for the sport and positive attitude are infectious.
Ellyn Dent
You'll usually find Ellyn assisting at the shop on weekends this year while attending nursing school, and during the summer months. She is a Divemaster and trained repair technician with many years of dive shop experience under her weight belt. She is very personable, and more than happy to help you find the gear that best suits your needs and budget.
Mike Reardon
Mike enrolled in his first class at Sea Sports in 1994, and was hooked. He became a Professional Scuba instructor in 2000. Several seasons later he found himself in the Caribbean working live-aboards and charter boats. His experience as a scuba instructor, kayak eco-guide, marine mammal educator and researcher, and captain makes him an outstanding teacher at Sea Sports. Today he combines instruction work with dive salvage, underwater boat service, and captaining on boat deliveries. He offers students a unique insight to the underwater world learned from many years as a naturalist with the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch and winter research of North Atlantic Right Whales.
Rory Magnus
Rory is a divemaster for the shop. He also provides boat cleaning and other dive services in his free time during the summer months. After graduating from Framingham State College with a degree in Art and Communications, he spent a year in Montreal, focusing on film. Rory has been with the shop for four years and has since become a competent and knowledgeable diver and kayaker.
Christopher Ranney
Chris is also one of our professional instructors. He has a real passion for diving and teaching, and has extensive local and warm water diving experience. As a SSI advanced open water instructor, CPR/First Aid Instructor, Dan O2 provider instructor, and repair tech. He has a wealth of knowledge to share.
Bob Torey
Has been with Sea Sports for many years. His experience as a master repair tech and knowledge of diving and kayaking has proved invaluable. Bob just retired from the military after 25 yrs of service.
