Riding on Cape Cod

Cape Cod is an amazing riding destination! We have 100's of miles of single track mountain bike trails, scenic paved bike paths, quaint coastal roads and small towns to explore.  As a pillar of the local riding community we are here as a resource to help you get the most out of your riding, and our local area. It is our core mission to develop the riding community around us. We do that in part through multifaceted programming including, group rides, event promotion, development teams, event support, clinics, tours, camps, lessons, and DEMO days.

Group Rides 2024

We host 3 group rides per week from the shop. All rides have started for the Season! Details are below:

• Mondays - Mellow Monday MTB Ride, Mondays 5:30pm 
  • Easy pace Mountain Bike ride exploring local trails from the shop! All are welcome, this is a no drop, all fun ride.  Demo bikes are potentially available with advanced notice.  
    
• Wednesdays - Two Road Group Rides, Wednesdays 5:30pm -  New for 2024!    
  • Two separate road rides leave at the same time from the shop:  
    • The "World's" ride starts out at a civil pace, but the pace builds throughout the ride. Hang on as long as you can and test your fitness on this challenging route. Approx. 30 miles. https://www.strava.com/routes/3197306376883071332
    • "Grupetto" Wednesday is a fun road cruise at 16-18 mph and a shorter route of 20-25 miles. https://www.strava.com/routes/3213899688661155860
• Saturdays - Starting 4/27/24!  Coffee Cruise Road Ride   
  • The Coffee Cruise ride is a noncompetitive, social, steady 15-17 mph cruise with a coffee stop along the way. Distance will be Approximately 20-30 miles. Ride rolls at 7:45am.

Youth Cycling

Everyone needs a positive outlet in their life, especially kids. For so many, riding can be a life changing experience and we support programming to help local youth experience the simple joys of riding a bike.    

• Bicycle Rodeo's - We put on and help with many community kids' rodeo's. 
• Town of Barnstable Mountain Bike program (Spring and Fall) - Info
• Cape Crushers - Kids Youth Mountain Bike team for riders 5th-12th grade. 
• DEVO Cycling - Local non profit that helps get kids on bikes, and supports a team of youth athletes www.devocycling.com
