Cape Cod Canal Bikeway
The Cape Cod Canal Trail is a level paved path running from the Bourne Bridge to Sagamore Bridge. It is just over 7 miles each way, on either side of the canal. Beautiful scenery and a visitors center make this a memorable trip.
Cape Cod Rail Trail
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a scenic bike trail from Dennis to Welfleet. This paved trail runs along old rail bed with a soft shoulder for horses, runners and walkers. There are many places along the trail to stop for lunch or a snack with plenty of historic and picturesque stops as well. Currently there are plans to extend the trial into the Hyannis area with an expected completion in 2016. The Massachusetts DCR has an informational site dedicated to the rail trail with maps.
